Context

A New Story of the Global Energy Scenario

First produced in 2013 to analyse and promote knowledge on the energy market, CESI’s quarterly addresses national and international stakeholders. After seven years, the company felt the need to renew the graphic layout and editorial plan of the magazine to exploit brand journalism as truly efficient tool for dialogue and positioning to: increase internal cohesion, promote CESI’s specific expertise and innovation through new languages and dynamically and correctly describe the global energy scenario. The company published a call to this end, involving various communications agencies, for a proposal of its in-house magazine.

Communications Strategy, Web and Social Media Development

2020: Conception and graphic project of the in-house magazine, development of interviews and content (Italian/English), layout, development web and digital store (Apple Books) versions, promotion and newsletter.

Results

The project innovated CESI’s communication through a light and modern look&feel, a flat style page with little text and the use of large images, infographics and tables to simplify focus. The editorial concept is based on the story of innovation and sharing of knowledge as factors for growth and tools to promote projects and activities, develop relations with actors and drive a constructive synthesis of opinions and proposals to delineate a possible future. This future is based not only on research and technology, but also on aesthetics and sustainability, environmental safeguard and the respect of citizens and local environments.
