Amiat

In 2025, together with PwC Italia and CodeLand, we led the redesign of Amiat’s website, the Iren Group company responsible for environmental services in the city of Turin.

The project aimed to renew the company’s digital presence through a modern, responsive design, a clear and intuitive navigation, and a content structure built to optimise the user experience and make access to relevant information easier and more immediate.

The new website was conceived as a trusted information hub for citizens, institutions and the media, reinforcing Amiat’s role as a key local operator in urban hygiene and waste management.

Context

For over fifty years, Amiat has been managing integrated street cleaning, waste collection and disposal services in Turin. At a time when digital communication plays an increasingly central role in the relationship between public services and citizens, the company chose to renew its website to make access to environmental services simpler, more transparent and more immediate.

The redesign stemmed from the need to overcome a complex and fragmented information structure, rethinking the site architecture to place services at the heart of navigation and ensure stronger visual consistency with both Amiat’s identity and the Iren Group brand.

A modern web design with service-driven navigation

Amiat’s new website stands out for its refreshed design, developed to offer a smooth and intuitive browsing experience. Its responsive approach ensures effective use across devices, including mobile, in line with users’ browsing habits.

The project involved a full redesign of the information architecture and an optimisation of the UX/UI, with main and service menus reorganised into clear, intuitive categories. By reducing navigation depth and rationalising content, the new structure guides users quickly and easily towards the information that matters most.

A coherent digital identity built around service

Through the integrated work on Brand Strategy, Content Strategy and SEO/SXO Strategy, the new website strengthens Amiat’s digital identity and reinforces its role as a public service close to citizens.

The new platform improves the company’s online visibility and supports a more direct and transparent dialogue with the local area, delivering a digital experience that is coherent, well-structured and clearly oriented towards service quality.
