Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), the national railway infrastructure manager and part of the Ferrovie dello Stato Group, has entrusted Cultur-e with developing and managing an editorial plan dedicated to LinkedIn. The project aimed to strengthen the company’s digital presence, consolidating its reputation as an “enabler” of economic development and promoter of innovation, sustainability and safety in the railway sector.

Context

RFI plays a crucial role in developing Italian infrastructure, operating in a strategic sector for the mobility and economic growth of the country. With the need to communicate its commitment and the challenges faced, RFI has chosen to focus on LinkedIn as a key channel to expand the brand’s visibility and dialogue with stakeholders, professionals in the sector and institutions. The goal was to build an authentic and engaging story highlighting projects, results and people.

An authoritative presence on LinkedIn, in open dialogue with networks and the community

The new editorial strategy has represented and brought value to the brand. It has also expanded the story by considering projects, activities and initiatives of the entire Infrastructure Hub, of which RFI is the leader. The operational management of the LinkedIn page has included constant monitoring of interactions and conversations with the community. The results were measured thanks to a KPI Monitoring model, which has allowed us to continuously optimise the performance of the contents and improve the strategy in real-time.

 

2023: development of an editorial strategy aimed at diversifying and expanding RFI’s story on LinkedIn; monthly planning and content management focused on key themes such as innovation, infrastructure, sustainability and technology, using recognisable visual formats, from graphic cards to infographics, to narrative carousels; measurement and monitoring of results.

Thanks to an authentic narrative and a diversified content strategy, RFI has consolidated its digital presence, positioning itself as a reference in the railway infrastructure sector. The combination of valuable content and effective management of the LinkedIn page has allowed an increase in visibility, community involvement and promotion of an overall vision of RFI’s role in the future of sustainable and technological mobility.
