“Houston, we have a problem”: where the world finds a problem, he finds a solution. Technology and development expert, digital transformation strategist, profound connoisseur of all information systems: on Apollo 13, he would have probed space task after task. Because even the infinite can be broken down into precise IT operations. All you have to do is figure where to start. Marco started from his previous life as an architect: after a master’s degree at Sapienza, he realised that the only spaces he really wanted to design would be future scenarios. He studied Business Intelligence and achieved his expertise after completing an Executive MBA: Today he develops digitalization strategies for businesses and companies and deals with all IT operations within organizations. Strange as it may seem, for him it’s easier to handle a data dashboard than talking about himself: he will never tell you that he has lived in Seville and Rotterdam and gained experience in New York and China. Nevertheless, he defines himself as 100% Roman: his fluent English betrays him – with the sounds and accents typical of the Lazio coast – which you could deduce from a simple “you’re on mute”. Waiting for the wave and not sparing when it arrives: surfing is his passion and his attitude to life. Try to ride his patience: it’s storm-proof. The secret? Choosing a problem-solving strategy at work and a carefree approach to life: travelling with curiosity, eating with taste and drinking with care. He will appreciate a beer, possibly a craft one.
